Attend a Kundalini class with Devinder, and you'll experience why students have studied and practiced with her for well over a decade. Her strong interpersonal approach to teaching helps people reach their individual goals and empower themselves through yoga. While talented and practiced, Devinder is also a 500 Hour Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher in the Hatha and Kundalini Yoga traditions. She is Hatha Yoga Teacher Trainer and is a KRI Kundalini Yoga Lead Trainer. With over 25 years of experience as a self-employed business owner and business/IT consultant, she is a much requested presenter on television programs, at local and national Yoga and Women's conferences, and travels extensively as a guest trainer for Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training programs.

In Kundalini Yoga we refer to our "Ten Bodies" the physical body being just one of them. There are also three mental bodies and six energy bodies. Each of these bodies interacts with the others and serves a specific function. Depending on the date of our birth, some of these bodies are more likely to work really well for us as assets, while others are more easily imbalanced, leading to probable liabilities in life. When we have an awareness of how each of our Ten Bodies function and how they work together in an integrated way, we can use Kundalini Yoga to balance them for optimal performance. Learn and experience what the "Ten Bodies" are, how they interact with each other, and how to direct your mind to expand your self-awareness to change the way you interact in the world and with others

The Moon Centres

The Moon Centers are 11 specific areas of the body through which energy moves in the course of one moon cycle. The activation of each moon center results in the manifestation of particular psychological and spiritual qualities and the energy in each woman travels in a unique pattern. The study of moon centers dates back to Vedic times. Understanding the effects of the moon centers can empower your relationship with your body, allow you to use all aspects of your mind and free you from hidden agendas that block you from experiencing fulfilling and loving relationships, maintaining healthy self-esteem, grace and, yes, even having better sex! This information is transforming for all women and across all yoga styles and disciplines. Session includes lecture, yoga, meditation for healing, self-understanding and the very important practice for all women—deep relaxation.

Chakras are energy centres. They absorb life force or prana from the universe and are distributed through the nadis, energy channels to the nervous system, endocrinal glands and circular system. In this workshop, we will focus on the eight major chakras. Chakras 1, 2 and 3—or the lower triangle—chakras 5, 6 and 7—or the upper triangle—and the eighth chakra, the aura. The fourth chakra, the heart chakra, is the balance between them, where the shift happens from me to we, from individual to universal. Through Kundalini yoga postures, breath work and meditation, we will explore techniques to unblock and balance these eight chakras.

Meditation is one of the most natural and rewarding of all human activities. It brings balance, rest and a growing inner peace. While its highest and original purpose is to help us awaken our inner, spiritual nature, the benefits to body and mind are well established by medical research. Practised daily, meditation produces profound results on all levels of your being—physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. It connects you with your own inner powers of vitality, clarity and peace. This workshop will help you learn to reduce tension and stress, to feel happier, more relaxed and at peace with yourself, to improve your health, mental clarity and vitality, and to develop a more intuitive, heart-centered way of life.
