Create the Life You Want

Michael Lee - TH1LEE

"Don’t ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive, and then go out and do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive." Howard Thurman Creating the life you want is not impossible, but it does require your participation. Most of the time we accept what’s happening instead of learning to be aware of and choosing what we want. This workshop is a step towards this circular process as you explore easy-to-follow mind–body practices and begin to build an actionable plan that suits your life. Michael will skillfully guide you in learning simple yet profound ways to use your body, your yoga, your awareness, and your innate wisdom to ignite your life. Everything you learn can be implemented into your daily life and further refined, allowing you to have the opportunity to live according to your truth. Whether you want to change things, accept things, or grow into your most amazing self, all that is required is presence, awareness, acceptance, and courage.

Innernauts and Astronaut: What is Transformation?

Michael Lee - FR2LEE

"The creative force behind the universe is the same creative force we experience within ourselves." Edgar Mitchell In 1971, on his way home from the moon, Edgar Mitchell had a profound and life-changing experience as he observed the heavens, the earth, the moon, and the sun in a fast-moving panorama. Later, researchers at Rice University, attempting to help him understand his experience, concluded it was a sankalpa samadhi experience as described in the ancient yogic texts. What were the conditions that Mitchell engaged to set up such a moment regardless of where he happened to be? Can we create similar "awakening moments" right here on earth in our yoga practice? If so, what are the important elements we need to have in place to do so? This workshop will inform as well as provide take-home practices for engaging yoga as a process of transformation.

Turn Stress Into Bliss: Yoga for Connection and Awareness

Michael Lee - SA1LEE

Unlike your fluctuating mind, your body always tells the truth—the plain and simple truth. So why not learn how to listen to it?" Michael Lee How well do you connect to yourself through your body? Do you listen to its wisdom and learn from it? How can embodied awareness through yoga inform your life, the choices you make and help create the bliss you desire? So often we run from our uncomfortable sensations and feelings, never allowing them to teach us. Yet if we engage them, they can take us somewhere new, often into deeper levels of awareness. Through led experiences and a unique verbal integration process, this workshop teaches you how to listen to the body and tap into its wisdom, supporting the process of deeper awareness on a multitude of levels. All of the practices taught will transfer and support your learning from your mat to your daily life, enhancing deeper awareness and connecting to self.

Navigating Life Change: Shit Happens But You Don’t Have to Step In It.

Michael Lee - SA4LEE

"When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves." Viktor Frankl Our education does not generally prepare us well for handling change. And the change we experience in all aspects of life today is roughly ten times what it was just 30 years ago. Stress and anxiety are on the rise and may be at the root of many of the so called "lifestyle disorders" we experience. In this experiential workshop, you will learn a yoga-based, body–mind process for navigating life when faced with difficult issues or crises. These can occur in work, relationships, finances, health, and many other aspects of life where effective strategies for change are demanded. Workshop participants will have the opportunity to engage this process and apply it
