Explore the multi-dimensional terrain of the teenage landscape, and how to inspire them to incorporate yoga into their lives and find respite within.

The Emotional Balancing Act: Supporting Youth Experiencing Anxiety, Depression & Trauma

Stress and anxiety are common emotional states for today's youth. Mental health issues can often be overlooked when teens are labeled moody or difficult. A multi-dimensional approach to yoga offers youth a practice to help balance thoughts, feelings and behaviours. It can provide a safe and positive place to explore and work through the myriad of emotions present at this stage of self-discovery. Explore creative ways to help teens release tension, ground & protect their energy, and magnify the peacefulness and joy in their lives.

A Lifetime Love of Yoga: Absolute Essentials for Children's Yoga Teachers

Teaching yoga to children is vastly different than teaching adults. In this experiential workshop we will explore the critical components that make a children's class engaging, fun and inspiring for both student and teacher. By maintaining the delicate balance between freedom and structure, children experience deeper levels of self-acceptance and courage. The tools, techniques, resources and confidence you gain from this workshop will help you offer children experiences that connect them with their innate wisdom.
