We will explore the physiological explanation behind these conditions, the effect that stress has on our body and discuss the psychosomatic reflexes associated. We will work through gentle and specific yogic techniques/meditations aimed at alleviating tension with the goal of creating a better balance in the physical structure for a better night's sleep.

Do you work in an office, inside or outside of your home? Have you suffered from low-back pain, neck pain, shoulder tension or headaches? This 2-hour workshop will help! We will discuss common workplace strain patterns developed by prolonged sitting and immobility throughout your workday. We will explore corrective workplace strategies/tools, as well as develop a YOGA sequence that can be done at your desk and work within your timeframe. We will also develop strategies to combat stress and lack of concentration through mediation and asana.
