Faculty - Andrea Lee

Andrea has a Masters in Osteopathic Manipulative Science and works to understand the individual patient's structural anatomical limitations as well as provide tailored yoga programs specific to the needs of the patients. She is the founder of Natural Alignments Osteopathy and Yoga Therapy. Andrea has been asked to teach at several international yoga conferences on topics ranging from: body mechanics and understanding body systems to using yoga to combat anxiety and depression. Andrea's goal is to educate teachers on proper body mechanics so that they can better assist their students and help them understand their student's physical limitations.

Finding a better night sleep through exploration of the shoulders, neck and jaw

Do you grind your teeth? Suffer with TMJ dysfunction? Find it difficult to fall asleep and stay asleep? Then this workshop is for you! We will explore the physiological explanation behind these conditions, the effect that stress has on our body and discuss the psychosomatic reflexes associated. We will work through gentle and specific yogic techniques/meditations aimed at alleviating tension with the goal of creating a better balance in the physical structure for a better night's sleep.

Creating Balance in your Workspace

Do you work in an office, inside or outside of your home? Have you suffered from low-back pain, neck pain, shoulder tension or headaches? This 2-hour workshop will help! We will discuss common workplace strain patterns developed by prolonged sitting and immobility throughout your workday. We will explore corrective workplace strategies/tools, as well as develop a YOGA sequence that can be done at your desk and work within your timeframe. We will also develop strategies to combat stress and lack of concentration through mediation and asana.
