In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) The Spring and the Wood Element is all about growth, hope and pushing past old ideas and habits. This practice will focus on asanas, acupressure, qigong and pranayama specific to the Liver and Gall Bladder (Wood Element) to promote a free flow of Qi. You will feel replenished and a sense of freedom from this practice. Let go of anger and irritability and emerge from your winter cocooning. This is an opportunity to grow in your yoga practice as well as in your personal journey towards health and healing. We learn to bend with the wind as our roots dig deeper and our branches reach towards the welcoming sun that springtime wields.

Do you ever stop and think about breathing? Perhaps in a yoga class, yes. But our lungs are amazing and for the most part, we never have to think about breathing! Let's explore some common Lung conditions, like asthma, allergies, long COVID and bronchitis and see how the simple practice of Qi-Yoga can help your lungs feel their healthiest. Our practice includes learning about the Metal Element of Chinese Medicine and the organs, Lungs and Large Intestines. The Metal element oversees our "ImmuniQi" and we will learn acupressure, pranayama and yoga poses to support healthy lungs and immunity.
