Ayurvedic Approach to Yoga. 6-Hr Workshop (Theory + Demonstration)At the heart of a great Yoga practice lies a belief to be able to heal the body & the mind. Traditionally, Yoga is not a one-size-fits-all approach. True healing with Yoga begins with knowing one's physical, emotional & behavioral tendencies deeply, and being able to co-relate the health conditions surfacing from these tendencies. The Ayurvedic approach to Yoga directly works on your energy systems to make you feel great, energized & relaxed. It is based on a definitive body-mind framework from the Ayurveda perspective. It brings about inner harmony in the body & mind by regulating the disturbed energy due to doshic (energetic) imbalances. In this Ayurvedic approach to Yoga? workshop, you learn this framework for recognizing your specific body-mind archetype based on Vata, Pitta & Kapha dosha tendencies manifesting within you as health conditions or emotional disturbances. This approach brings a deeper awareness to your yoga practice by filtering your practice from the lens of Ayurveda. You will learn the alchemy of Yoga & Ayurveda combined with diet & lifestyle shifts to create a state of inner harmony & balance with strategically designed Yoga practice. This 6 hr workshop dives deeper into realizing your dosha, physical & emotional manifestations of your aggravated doshas, physical sites where these doshas create health concerns, and targeting these dosha-aggravated spots in the body with a clearly defined yoga practice and aligning it with dosha-specific yoga asanas, pranayama, diet, lifestyle & herbs. The workshop is divided into four parts:-Part 1 ? Explains Ayurvedic concepts of body-mind archetypes known as dosha-guna theory, the concept of Prakriti (constitution) & concept of pranas (energy) which are key concepts behind harmonizing the imbalanced doshas.-Part 2, 3 & 4 ? Here, we peel each archetype of Vata Pitta & Kapha layer by layer. It explains a framework to recognize your specific dosha prominence, signs of dosha excesses & deficiencies (imbalances), manifestations of doshas into physical & emotional states, and health conditions arising out of these imbalances. You will learn the logic behind choosing the right yoga asana, pranayama, diet & lifestyle for your archetype & imbalances arising out of it.

Is the life we are living now deliberately chosen by us? Or is it accidentally created by the impact of our surroundings? This workshop is designed for us to align the choices we have made with who we choose to be and the reality we want to experience. One of the key reasons to undertake this work is to play a role in not becoming a victim or being subjected to intentions and motives that one hasn't agreed to. In the world, we are made to agree or participate in many things which we probably did not consciously decide to participate in. For example, as we pursue a better life by becoming richer, we might accidentally support poverty or, in the name of our freedom, we may participate in oppression. The motive behind this effort is to play a role consciously, deliberately, to look around and to ask: is this the world we want, is this the world we are choosing to participate in making, both for ourselves and for all. Through a series of videos, contemplations, group discussions, and meditations, this workshop awakens our ability in us to participate deliberately in forming what our lives can be and how life at large can be. One of the key reasons to undertake this work is to play a role in not becoming a victim or being subjected to intentions and motives that one hasn't agreed to. Begin to Heal within your Experiences. You're either in state of contraction or expansion. The first (contraction) places you in the role of VICTIM; powerless, fearful, doubtful, worried, angry and confused. We withdraw into ourselves and disconnect from our core power. Expansion places us in state of personal power, autonomy, detached from the Earth drama towards we move towards self-mastery of our emotions and energy. Knowing your DNA story in combination with Generational Healing, reveals previous patterns through our lineage which became encoded in our DNA.Discover your family's REAL story . Your DNA carries the memories of trauma forward until that trauma has been healed. When your emotions are not given a free space to be released, they become stored in the DNA structure and pass on to your future lineage. ?Ohana Generational Healing is an energetic healing modality that focuses on healing inherited family trauma that is passed down through the DNA of our ancestral lineages. Connecting the client to the stories of their Ancestors, providing them a safe space to explore the traumas that have been handed down through their ancestral lineages, as well as honoring their own personal experiences, creates sacred space for growth and healing without the programming of family history.

In simply becoming present we begin to unravel the chronically held tension from our bodies, quiet our fight-or-flight response, and release stress and trauma. This workshop will discuss the latest scientific research on trauma and how we can apply these findings to our yoga practice as both teachers and students. Working through somatic healing (through the body), we will also explore flow sequencing, breathing and meditation techniques to release chronically held tension, and the negative thought patterns that follow a traumatic event.

Have you said yes to living, to thriving? Most often we are initiated into saying yes to things that we may not have consciously agreed to for ourselves. This unconscious acceptance can set many things in motion which we rarely challenge or examine. By this we can live our whole lives managing or coping with the consequences of what we have agreed to. This workshop will help us become more aware of what we actively choose to say yes to, by that we regain the ability to reset the direction we choose to move in. As Dhyan Vimal says, ?The basic power of all is the power to choose a direction to flow towards, remembering this power is the greatest gift one can give oneself and another.?

Spiritual care means taking care of your spirit and can ultimately lead you to the knowledge of who you really are. "Any active physical yoga practice should be built on principles of good alignment if it is to serve the overall goal of long-term health and wellness. But with so many different trusted and often well-educated voices declaring so many divergent opinions on ?how a pose should be done,? how are we supposed to know which one to listen to?This workshop will focus on identifying some core principles of biomechanics and physiology that provide us with tools to help find appropriate and effective alignment for almost any yogi in almost any posture.Finding a universally beneficial expression of any pose that would be appropriate for every practitioner may be next to impossible. But finding good alignment principles that serve every yogi in every pose may be easier than you think. "

Learn how the Vagal System controls our perception. Experience shifts from the limited states caused by stress to unlimited expansive experiences. Learn how the Vagal System senses neuroceptive cues through the data exchange in bioelectromagnetic fields. Understand yourself, your reactions and your connection to All at a deeper level. A majority of the Vagal nerve branches are in the gut which signal our "gut reaction" or "gut instincts" about things based on data in the bioelectromagnetic field. This sensing is prior to our conscious knowing and even prior to the event taking place. Yes, animals do this too and we call it "animal instincts". When we listen and follow through with our intuition we are in harmony and when we do not listen and do not follow through, we are in disharmony which leads to dis-ease. Come learn more.

When we relax the body shifts gears and returns to healing mode and accesses the original blueprint at an RNA and DNA level to repair. Scientists use electronic stimulation of the vagal nerve to reverse many disease processes like Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, epilepsy, arthritis, Chron?s, IBS, diverticulitis, depression and diabetes. Learn how to naturally access the healing power of the Vagal System with easy to learn exercises, eye patterns and a specialized breathing technique.

What we know keeps us limited as we are. We assume that we can learn, but it seems to be one of the hardest things to come to. As Dhyan Vimal says, most people simply learn to defend the state of self, how one already is, despite the fact that life always provokes learning. The right state of learning is to be in a space one is open to the fact that there can be something more than what is there, and this is the very centre of evolution for humanity. When the ego is in function one is moving to prove, to teach, and to project oneself onto the world. When this is rested one is in a state to learn, and when one can learn one can evolve to the next height of oneself. The ego is a compensation for when one is not present. The more present one is able to be, the less room there is for the ego to be in action and the more available one is for learning. In this workshop we will ask the questions, are we learning to keep us exactly the same, and to reinforce the idea we have of ourselves? Or are we able to learn, to evolve, to grow? Which means to confess that we have not yet arrived, there is more here. We are a process and not a fixed entity. We will study a lecture on transformation and see how we can break it down using the 4 study parameters put down by Dhyan Vimal as a structure to go beyond our predispositions.

We all have our stories, and for some people they involve traumatic chapters of abuse or neglect. Join Lisa to learn why, in a trauma-informed practice, we must be cognizant of the space, the poses, our adjustments and, most importantly, our language. Through understanding these concepts, you can work towards creating a safe and open environment for healing and release in your students and clients. "Insights into Classical Yoga Practice & Modern Yoga Practice ? 2 Hr Workshop (Theory + Demonstration)Do you know how classical yoga practice differs drastically from modern yoga practice? Classical Yoga practice is mainly practiced in India & is specifically taught by Yoga lineages while modern Yoga is more inclined towards yoga as a therapy or yoga for physicality. Even though the asanas in both practices are the same, it is the ideology behind performing these asanas that makes it different. Classical Yoga is inclined more towards spirituality, and scientifically it closely relates to bringing balance in the nervous system and activating the parasympathetic nervous system response of the body. Modern yoga practices are more aligned towards musculoskeletal system. In this workshop you will learn & experience the ideology behind the two approaches, differences between the classical & modern approach to yoga, benefits of performing Yoga with the classical & modern approach, and learning to perform asanas as per the two approaches."

Why do we always seem to cycle back to the same situations, the same narratives, and the same hurt? Buried deep in our tissue are stories of fear, myths of loneliness and hurt that constantly hold us captive and safely distant from our true magnificence. Through the many aspects of a yoga practice we can guide our students to mindfully dig, like archaeologists, down to the marrow of these patterns, discarding the myth that we are alone. Holding gentle but steady space for our classes, we can find the freedom and union that yoga seeks through reconnecting to Indra?s net (the extension of our very own fascia). Allie will guide you in a slow courageous journey of fascial unwinding flows, breathwork to raise your relaxation response, and Nidra to reboot your nervous system all through storytelling, touch, and humour. Come home to your magnificence, embody your wingspan.
